I dont think I have RLS but maybe something similar. It doesnt bother me anyhow.
But Im just curious so I came here.
My legs constantly move if I dont think on them. When Im sitting, they are jumping up and down. When Im lying on bed, watching a movie, or playing games. Legs crossed, I always circle with my upper foot.
Also I always have to play with something in my arm. A lighter, a box of matches, or something small, that makes my legs stop moving.
All that involuntary.
It doesnt releave any discomfort, because there is none. I just happens when i dont think about it.
No pain, no itching, no discomfort or anything similar.
I dont think Im nervous, no reasons to be, what I can think of... It is like that since I can remember.
anyone having similar expirience?

The International Restless Legs Syndrome Study Group (IRLSSG) has proposed a set of RLS diagnostic criteria - the fifth of these criteria was recently added. Diagnosis of Restless Legs Syndrome can be made if all of the five criteria are met:
1) A need to move the legs, usually accompanied or caused by uncomfortable, unpleasant sensations in the legs.
Any kind of sensation may be a manifestation of RLS and a wide variety of descriptions have been used ranging from "painful" to "burning" - some people say it feels like they have insects inside their legs or arms. Sometimes the need to move is present without the uncomfortable sensations and sometimes the arms or other body parts are involved in addition to the legs.
2) The need to move and unpleasant sensations are exclusively present or worsen during periods of rest or inactivity such as lying or sitting.
3) The need to move and unpleasant sensations are partially or totally relieved by movement such as walking or stretching at least as long as the activity continues.
4) The need to move and unpleasant sensations are generally worse or exclusively occur in the evening or night.
5) Symptoms are not solely accounted for by another condition such as leg cramps, positional discomfort, leg swelling or arthritis.
RLS often causes difficulty in falling or staying asleep, one of the chief complaints of the condition.
Many people who have the disease also have Periodic Limb Movements (PLM) - jerking of the arms or legs that is often associated with sleep disruption.
Kaarina covered what I was going to say, so not much else to add. Odd, that you have no discomfort at all, because RLS is a lot of discomfort, ad you have to have that uncontrollable urge to move that you cannot ignore.
Thank you Eileen, I for one am interested to know how you get on at your neurologist appointment. I hope you do not have to wait too long before you see him/her and that it is a good and beneficial visit.
I wont do anything, like I said im having that since I remember. From elementary school. Always people would say I am nervous. But when Im nervous I usualy sit still. More concentrated. So I dont twitch anything.
Also there is no "urge" to move my legs or anything. It just kind of just happens. If I notice it. I stop. If I get caried away It starts again.
I said it before It doesnt bother me in any way. Except my new girlfriends gets annoyed somethimes. So I was just curious.
My previous girlfriends newer thought much of it. Or notice it.
It sounds like PLMD (W), the rarer waking form of this normally somnolent and largely unconscious condition whereby the legs spasm, starting with the big toe and rapidly moving up into the calf (and in my case the thigh). Check out the symptoms:
I agree that it does not show all the symptoms of RLS but....when I was little my RLS started with similar symptoms. And during the daytime or when I am in bed I also do the circling of the upper foot.
