Lying in bed with aching legs only getting brief relief when I move them, I've got my gp on Tuesday, does this sound like RLS? I get small twitches too. I walked my dogs today, did house work, managed everything fine ,kids put to bed then when I relax my legs are aching, this has been going on for some time now x

Think I may have RLS??
Hi! Do you get an impossible-to-ignore urge to move the legs when at rest?
Sounds like it, if you say you get temporary relief by moving the legs. Make sure you explain it really well to your doctor. irlssg.org gives you the diagnostic criteria for RLS. That is the web site of the International RLS Study Group, made up of several RLS doctors and researchers. Good luck!
Hi I use mcc product pain slayer and chris’s Oil I find a massage with these helps to stop the pain, it is all essential oils so it’s better for you than tablets too x
Hi Clara,
I wouldn't describe my RLS as an ache, it's more like a weird uncomfortable, tickly, irritable "popping candy" sensation.
It's exactly like you describe it for me, combined with the string urge to move. It feels as if a cramp was just a split second away - for hours.
RLS comes in many shapes and sizes.
