Who would have thunk it?

I am off to bed very shortly, and when i do that will be one whole week without a cigarette!

No-one can possibly be more surprised than i!

I decided not to give myself an actual quit date for 2 reasons;

1) too much pressure

2) my birthday is coming up and want to enjoy it guilt free

However, i just seem to have stopped! I am amazed (and secretly chuffed to monkeys!)

But..... Still intend to keep the pressure off and enjoy my birthday - who knows, maybe the latter will not include a cig?

Time will tell x

Well done Zetters. I really agree with Gillyflower, it does give you freedom. I hadn't really thought about that. Hope you enjoy your birthday that bit more because of that too.

Well done Zetters, I have also just completed my first week smoke free. If nothing else the amount of money i have been putting aside is building quite nicely. New golf shoes on the way.
