Can't believe I have made it to DAY 10!!! (Sort of...)

Been a few days since my last post, have been really busy and no it was not because of self induced craving avoidance! lol. Making Easter egg competition entry with my daughter and day to day (attempted) organisation of my house, as well as looking after the 18 month old seem to have filled my time up and then some this week!

My cravings seem to have dissipated quite a bit over the last 3 days. Last night I went for 5 hours with having any NRT, I was upstairs watching movies and didn't realise how long it had been, of course as soon as I did realise I had a massive craving... lol

It hasn't all been plain sailing though... On Saturday my darling hubby bought 10, out of habit more than anything else... but of course they were there so we smoked them... :(

Felt terrible after but it hasn't disheartened me and I just carried on where I left off the next day.

My CO2 reading was 2 on Wednesday so am doing well on that front. Unfortunately, my quitting group is through my Daughters school so no meetings until 17th April now... but have my advisers number in case things start getting too much and she has given me plenty of NRT to tide me over. I am using Niquitin minis and had been using one every hour but now I am using half every 1 1/2 to 2 hours.

All in all I am feeling pretty positive, I even managed to go to the Metrocentre and ASDA yesterday with the kids and not completely blow a gasket, it was a lovely day actually... :)

If it only takes 24 - 48 hours for nicotine to leave your body, why would I want to use NRT?
