Good Evening Everybody,

I've just heard from Jillygirl's daughter

Jillygirl went down for her op at 3.30pm today and has only just come back up to ICU now (9.30-10.00). She has spoken to her hubby, she says she's in a lot of pain but is glad it's done

She's had such a huge operation and so it's no wonder that she was in theatre for so long. At least now she can rest up and begin on her road to recovery. Her daughter will be going in to see her tomorrow and will be taking in wheelie bins full of our love and good wishes for her.

I'll keep you all posted as I hear of anything more

Jillygirl's daughter sent a text earlier and has spoken to her mum over the phone

She sounds like she is in fine spirit and has already been telling everyone all about Quit Support, she says to expect some more members!! She's a crazy lady, but we all knew that anyway didn't we

Hopefully after her daughter visits her this evening, she'll let us know how she is doing.

I have tried to post this a number of times today but have had terrible gremlins onsite today!!

Hey folks, Jillygirl's lovely daughter has been to see her mum tonight. She's texted to say that her mum is okay but her heart isn't coping too well so they are keeping her in ICU overnight again. The surgeon has spoken to Jillygirl's family and said that it was a lot more severe than they originally thought. There are still some results to come back from biopsies as it may have spread but can be treated. Hopefully Jillygirl will be on the HDU ward tomorrow and will start getting better each day.

Her daughter is happy that's she's been in and seen her mum but will obviously feel better once she is out of ICU. Jillygirl's hubby is a lot happier

I've sent all our love and bestest of wishes to Jillygirl and all her family.

She's really been through the mill lately, it's a huge op that she's had and we just have to keep sending all those positive healing vibes on to her.

Evening Everybody,

Thursdays update from our Jillygirl's daughter tells us that she is still in ICU, this is purely down to having no beds in HDU bless. 'tis the right time of year to be saying "no room at the inn" I guess....

Jillygirl had a high temperature last night and so is now on antibiotics. All wires and tubes are now out, so that's a step forward in the right direction

She has been standing up and sitting down a few times today and s slowly coping with her breathing.

Her daughter says that she has her sarcasm back today too so is deffo getting better (her words not mine - Jillygirl, sarcastic.... Never )

She asked about you all today and is still missing everyone

All good in the hood so far it seems
