Nicotine Replacemnet Therapy (NRT) can double your chances of quitting succesfully. It's available on prescription. Just ask your GP or local stop smoking service for more information.
We know that there'll be certain situations when you'll be tempted to smoke. Why not make a list of them? That way you'll be prepared and you'll know what to avoid.
Ask yourself one question: Why are you quitting? Write down all your reasons, then you'll have a ready made list to motivate you when you need it.
Don't be a creature of habit. If there are places you associate with smoking, try to avoid them. Quitting is about changing your routine.

Keep in control. If you have trouble coping with cravings during your quit attempt, simply let us know and we'll support you all the way.
Stoptober is all about taking things one day at a time. So set yourself targets and rewards for when you hit them
