Hello my lovelies and welcome to our weekend chat π¬ πββοΈπββοΈπββοΈ
Itβs time to say goodbye to Nopevember and hello to December. Itβs a new month and new possibilities for being smoke freeππͺ
The wet and windy conditions are a great incentive not to go outside for a smoke. When I think about previous winters when I smoked and the trouble of getting loads of clothes on and even gloves, just to get outside for a smokeπ© I even remember the little burn holes on the gloves and jackets, itβs crazy the lengths we go to. Imagine the difference not doing all that and not being a slave. I didnβt want to be a slave to cigarettes anymore. I wanted my freedom and although it wasnβt plain sailing, it was the best thing I ever did. If it hadnβt been for Quit Support Iβm not sure I could have done it by myself to be honest.
Quitting is a journey and that journey is more of a marathon than a sprint. At times you really have to dig deep and remind yourself why you want to be smoke free. Friends of mine that had never smoked thought it was just a case of stopping and that was the end of this. We all know itβs far more than that and thatβs why Quit Support is brilliant. We understand as we have experienced it ourselves. So this weekend, if youβre tempted just pop on here before you act on it. Itβs a lifesaver.
Another benefit is the money which is badly needed at this time of the year. I can afford to spoil the little ones and see the joy on their faces. And I donβt miss a moment of it now I donβt keep nipping outside for a puff. So many benefits and of course I havenβt even mentioned the main benefits to our health as thatβs a whole other post for another time.
Hereβs hoping our neighbours enjoyed their Thanksgiving Celebrations πΊπΈ π¦ Wishing our Scottish members a very Happy St Andrewβs Day π΄σ §σ ’σ ³σ £σ ΄σ Ώ and Happy New Month to all. Let the Christmas magic begin π¦π¦ π·
Have a great weekend everyone and remember NOPEππ€π«π°βοΈπ°π«π°βοΈxx
