I didn't smoke much ~ 20 a week or sometimes 20 a fortnight. Used to smoke more but dropped it right down about 15 years ago.

Reached a point where I wasn't comfortable at all with the risks from social smoking and a mate got me onto vaping.

3 months on, and I haven't touched a smoke, nor do I want to. Survived a stag do for 3 days in Amsterdam with no cigs.

Smell better, things taste better, exercise is easier, less expensive, improving health.

Next up is dropping the nicotine level in e liquid so that I'm on zero nic by this time next year, then kick the vape altogether.

Welcome to quit support. :) Thank you for joining our lovely community.

Here on quit support our aim is to help people be free of nicotine addiction, whether

Its through cigarettes, shisha, vaping, salts, jules, or any other method.

Nicotine itself is not harmful, but it is the main substance that keeps us all addicted.

Once the nicotine has left the body (usually within 3 to 4 days) we need to rid our

Bodies of the 4000+ chemicals that are still damaging our system.

If you read through the pinned posts , we have a lot of useful and informative articles

On there to help you with your quit journey.

You seem to be prepared for this quit journey , I am sure you will succeed.

Please don’t hesitate to ask , if you have a query . There is usually someone around

Who can help.

I will assign you your achievement badge ( next to your name ) so you can watch your progress grow. :) I will put your quit date down for the 23/08/19 If this is wrong please let me know. :)

We wish you good luck with your quit journey. 😊

Hi EC, seems like you have set your preferred positive outcome to me!! I like the way you’ve ‘owned’ your smoking history by how you smoked then the reason for wanting to quit. Then you list the benefits to you and how you’re going to go about it. V methodical and you’ve embraced the fact that it is a process for you.....smashin!! Vaping wasn’t so much available when I decided to quit however one of my offspring used a Juul so I’m aware of how they can help as part of the quitting process. Whatever gets you through to the other side of being nicotine free huh?!! Much love, Poll x
