Chest infections: Is it true that it takes a... - Quit Support
Chest infections
Hi Hannon, No its not true, It may be that some people suffer with coughing due to getting rid of all the toxins on the lungs. Yes you can suffer with what is know as quitters flu.
However quitting smoking doesnt cause any infection. Quitter's flu, also called smoker's flu, is a slang term used to describe the flu-like symptoms that nicotine withdrawal can sometimes produce. Is important to note that smoker's flu is not an infectious sickness.
Hello sweeti thank you for your quick reply (so kind)🌹 good im glad as I havent even had a cough, funny thought I got a fit of sneezing a couple of times and it lasted a while kept cleaning my head,so If anyone ease gets this it may be due to your head/sinuses clearing😀much respect and good wishes to all Keep Smiling hope no one is suffering and just think THIS TO SHALL PASS X
