Day 10 and feeling fine. This is really happening. 40 yrs of smoking 🚬 and i wish I'd done it sooner. Had some chocolate the other day and it was like I'd never had it before. Amazing 🤪. Still feeling sick 🤮 but able to eat and enjoy my food. Still no cravings which is great. Getting good support from my friends as well and getting longer hugs 🤗 now that i don't smell like a ashtray. It win win.

Yes, food tastes so much better, and can be such a revelation and far too pleasurable to spoil now. You're doing well, keep going Purple! 😊😊

Well done Purple. You are truly on a journey of a lifetime. I know what you mean about the hugs, I was embarrassed and stayed away from getting too close to people when I smoked. Now, I don't even think about it. Its joyous. Keep up the good work and a diary is a great way of logging your progress and achievements on the ‘Big Quit’.

Cheers

Dai

Marvellous Monday news Purplehaze! Clean, fully meant hugs are just one benefit of quitting.....there are loads more too: tasting your food fully, smelling everything more acutely, thinking more clearly, having more time in the day, not having to go outside in the cold & rain, more dosh, increased self respect, just breathing easier etc etc., I could go on and on. I usually do! Make a list. Keep it on your phone and whenever you have a wobble, just refer to it to remind yourself why you’re doing this. A great reinforcer! Much love, Poll x
