Prior to my previous posts after 4 months of not smoking I’m still feeling physical pains such as;
Upper chest pain
Middle back pain
Headaches
Slight ache under left ribs at times
Electric shock type pain when I move in certain positions
Constantly feel I have a lump in throat
I keep thinking I have the worst and thinm that I’m just gonna live a chronically ill life which is really doing my head in now. Not sure if it’s because the doctors at a&e said that I might have GAD or that this is what it’s like to feel normal or it’s down to one of my cousins passing away due to lung cancer as he smoked for a couple months then gave up and then obtained the cancer. Kind of freaking me out and rather just live a pain-free life when I was smoking lol. Thank you in advance

Everyone will go through withdrawal symptoms, but keep going as it will eventually ease. Make an appt at your doctor's and ask for a full health check to put your mind at ease. The lump in your throat could be anxiety..
I agree about the lump being anxiety.. I have pain at night when I lie in bed in my chest and then when I get it and move around it goes away.. I also hear we accumulate a lot of gas in our body after we quit so the pain can be gas also. I was told to do a colon cleanse but still not sure if Im going to do it. I have a lot of anxiety, insomnia, burning mouth and tongue.. But I know its going to go away. I also have palpitations when I lie down Hang in there if you feel going to the Dr wil make you feel better then go. IF NOT give yourself some more time. JUST SAYING I am not a Dr I know one thing it too me 100 years of smoking to do the damage I did and can't expect to feel GREAT YET.. It will gradually happen for all of us. Wishing you the best
