Hi there mrnaptown1, When you stop smoking weed or tobacco you can spit blood due to irritation in the throat. You dont say how long you have smoked weed and how long it is you stopped smoking. I am afraid I cant advise you as I am not familiar with symptoms from smoking weed. I would presume they are similar to quitting tobacco but not been an expert I dont wish to give you wrong information. Roy Castle have a helpline which may be able to offer advice. roycastle.org

I hope you find the help you need . :) x

Hi ya Mrnaptown1 and a big WELL DONE to you for quitting the weed :) :) BUT, all we generally deal with on here is quitting tobacco, soooo, am not quite sure whether we can help you or not :o

You say your spitting blood, now then, is this coming from your mouth/teeth orrrr further down :o cos when we quit smoking tobacco, a lot of our members suffer from bleeding gums :o so please try to find out if its your gums that are bleeding :) if not, then I strongly advise you to get advice from your doctor :)

As for the tiredness, this is a very common symptom and will get easier as time goes on, please have a look at the breathing exercises in the Pinned Posts, cos with some practice, they do help :) Some of us do get a sort of tingling, pins & needles in our hands, but not sure why your hands should be hurting :o

Please take care Mrnaptown and hope to speak soon :) :)

Pete :)
