It is so good to smell nice for once, I can now smell a smoker from a distance, bad things are gums hurt, but I'm sure it's just the healing thing, hope to get a reply, as have no one saying well done.

Yep unfortunately sore gums are very common😣 but this will pass and in the meantime warm salt water rinses are very soothing and there's also a mouth wash available to help.

The smelling smokers a mile off has made me chuckle. How deluded I was that I was keeping it hidden from some people :-\ We stunk, and the smell of old ashtray really is unpleasant.

My gums hurt too but it's a good thing. All the physical symptoms are our bodies healing themselves and recovering - that can only be a good thing. "No pain, no gain" keeps coming to mind

Hi I've been smoke free now for a month best thing ever!! People don't tell you how ill it can make you and my gums have been a nightmare bleeding all the time despite good oral care I did find that Colgate pro gum toothpaste has really helped. Well done with quitting and I wish all the best. X
