I've managed to be smoke free for 6wks but my gums have been bleeding when I brush my teeth & are sensitive. Any suggestions to help! I do occasionally use vype epen but I've used 1.5 caps only in that time. I thought that was good but not sure. I've never given up before.

Hiya candi and a big warm welcome to quit support😀

Congratulations on 6 weeks quit, great achievement so well done👍

Bleeding gums are a very common side effect of quiting so don't worry as it will pass. Use a little soft baby brush and this will help. I suffered with sore gums at the start and used warm salt water rinses. Keep up the good work😊x

P's invest in an electric toothbrush with a gum setting. If I don't use that it looks like I brushed my gums with a razor blade xxx
