Hi Charlie :-)

I started on Ecig but only lasted about 3 month myself but I stopped mainly due to allergic reaction to pg in e liquid. I'm no expert on these things but my sisters have quit using a cig alike and it worked for them. :-)

Best to go online and do a bit of research, there's lots of sites and you will find vaping forums that may help :-)

There is a few on here that use an ecig hopefully they can answer your question.

As for the anxiety you are having, it's quite common for people to feel this when they quit. You can try some relaxation techniques such as soothing music, hot bath, aromatherapy candles and oils. Go for a massage, take some me time or a yoga class :-)

If things get to much I would suggest talking to your Dr or nurse.

I know it's hard but you have made the first step and you are a stronger person that you think, so believe in yourself :-)

I'm off on holiday tomorrow but keep in touch and be strong and you will power through this

Oh and if you haven't already can I suggest reading Allen Carr 'the easyway to quit smoking' this really helped me and a few others on here have said the same. just google it and there should be a site you can download it free :-)

xx

Sorry to hear about your battle Charlie. I don't have any answers other than to say I know the feeling well. I was referred to a psychologist for cognitive behavioural therapy but I think all it achieved was to put food on his family's table. I think we develop a perception that a cigarette calms & relaxes us when in reality all it is really doing is satisfying our nicotine addiction. I have self hypnosis tapes for golf which emphasise deep slow breathing which seem to help with the anxiety. I suppose, in a way, smoking could be regarded as deep breathing too, good for your state of mind, but bad for your health in every other way. Sadly, smoking may appear to be a solution, but in reality, you'll probably end up suffering anxiety as well as self loathing from going back on the cigs.

Hi Charlie - I found myciggy.com and goforsmoke.com both helpful and reasonably cheap. Being a bit old fashioned though, it is nice to find a local specialist shop and be able to look and feel and see what you are getting.

You won't regret it once you get used to the e-cig.

Good Luck!

Aup Charlie, its lovely to see you again gal :) :)

Like beardy Chris has said, I too got my e-cig from Myciggy, com :) I think I paid about £39.00 for a starter pack, which consisted of 2 good sized batteries, 2 atomizers, 2 bottles of fluid and a nice little case to put them in :)

You can find cheaper on Ebay, but you only get what you pay for nowa days eh :o

Please keep us informed and let us know your quit date and good luck Charlie :) :)

Hi Charlie! When I started to use e-cig, I have lot of questions too and it's very confusing of which e-cig brand and starter kit to choose. But I found one from blucigs(dot)co(dot)uk. It's the blu STARTER KIT that comes in great flavours. I'm satisfied with it so I never tried to use another brand. Don't worry, it has a long-life battery with stylish LED tip and will give you a cigarette-like sensation too!
