Hi Just wondering if anyone has read "easyway" by Allen Carr?
My nephew read it and gave up straight afterwards, and I believe it helps reprogramme how you feel about smoking etc. Was going to pick up a copy but could do with some feedback really.
Have a great weekend.

I'm currently reading it and finding it a big help. I have another 30 or so pages to go but the whole way through the book he really emphasizes how easy it is to quit and he almost guarantees that if you read the book to the end then you'll have no trouble quitting! I hope he's right ha. I got it online in pdf format so didn't have to buy it! If you google Alan Carr Easyway PDF you should find it. I think it's the 3rd edition i found.
I def think it's helped me although I'm only at an early stage yet so anything can happen lol. Yeah let me know how it goes for you. Hopefully it does the trick
I've heard lots of good feedback from this book. Wonder, one of our members actually swears by it.
The thing is, the more times you try, and the more help and support you receive then the more likely you are to stay stopped.
Give it a go, and if anything - it will definitely keep you occupied
Stop Smoking (52 brilliant ideas) by Peter Cross and Clive Hopwood is another good book on smoking. For me Allen Carr drones on a bit, repetitive and humourless. The two authors of this book take it all quite light heartedly, give you the facts and the rest is up to you. It's almost like its no skin off their nose whether you stop smoking or not but they certainly tell you all the facts about smoking and suggestions of how you might stop.
excellent thanks for the advice, and yes i agree Carrs book is very humourless and does go on, i am up to chapter 3 and not really been told much other than not to stop smoking before i finish the book, so i need to get my head down and it read as i wont be smoking after Feb the 1st! x
