Can you believe it, nearly 14 weeks, got over the sleeplessness and the dreams, then the dreams have come back! I've had three consecutive nights where I have dreamt that I've gone to buy cigarettes as a result of an event in my life. This isn't a problem for me but thought it might be helpful to post, it just goes to show the power of the subconscious and the hold these b.....y things have. For pity's sake you little rats leave me alone!

Uh oh!!! Like the tellytubbies...
Oh, that's not good is it. It's weird isn't it, I remember that when I was a teenager before I ever started smoking I used to have quite regular dreams about smoking until in the end at 18 I decided to live the dream Unfortunate then that it eventually turned into a nightmare Not funny really though, must be really annoying keep being reminded of smoking in your dreams.
I must admit that I've been really lucky in that I have only had just one really bad dream ages ago that had me sat up screaming in bed, someone was trying to kill me and by the time I woke I was hysterical. Took my poor hubby ages to calm me down but apart from that I only ever remember dreams a couple of times a year.
I dream quite regularly that I'm still smoking despite the fact I have no real desire to do so.Just mind games is all it is, nicotine receptors in the brain gasping still for that fix.
Hey Friezfriend, lovely to hear from you. Dreams are a funny thing and I love them. Sin, how funny is it that you dreamt that you smoked before you ever did!
YSD, I agree - those nicotine receptors are feisty little things!!
