I am pleased to announce I have been a non smoker for 10 weeks now and it's true what they say as time goes on you do forget about smoking,I'm using the e_cig and I now panic if I can't find it,don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing but while I panic about that I'm not thinking about smoking the only problem I do have is that my nose feels blocked all the time anyone else heard of this?So for anyone else just starting on giving up stick with it because u can do this but I do believe you have to do it for yourself and for no one else so let's all give ourselves a pat on the back and congratulate ourselves because we are doing it have a great bank holiday hopefully the sun will Shine

Congratulations on reaching 10 weeks. I can relate to a lot of what you say. I realised today that I have stopped thinking about how long ago it was that I last smoked. I was counting the days and then weeks to begin with but now I'm not so conscious of that any longer. I'm also finding that certain phrases such as "I don't smoke" sound right, if that makes sense. I guess it is the mind adjusting.

I made a point of not looking in the beginning because I didn't want to be disappointed because at the beginning you feel like you have given up longer than you actually have

Round of applause to you all, you are really doing well in fact better than me. 4 months and still keep thinking of the rotten stinky fags, habit I suppose. Dont think about them while I am out of the house. Still I wont buy any ever again although I nearly asked a friend for one tonight but thought better of it. Good luck x
