How many of you's know about the subtypes of PSP, PSP-P, PSP-C,PSP-D, The PSP-P is PSP / Psrkinsons, PSP-C / Cortical basel Degeneration, PSP-D / Dimentia W/ Leuie Bodies..From my reasearch all make it faster progressing By the PSP before the Letter, but have the more perdominate symptoms of thier Letter after PSP....I found that because it's a faster progression than in typical CBD,Or DWLB .....

There's a good article about PSP and most of the subtypes (often disagreement by neurological experts) that you may or may not have read. Google "Progressive Supranuclear Palsy : new concepts - sciELO"
The progression of each depends on the nature of the sub-type, with some having a much longer progression than PSP. Some of the conditions like CBD are
linked closely to PSP (being pure tauopathies).
Some can start much earlier than PSP (which never shows symptoms before the age of 40, and usually about 63) - Pick's disease (FTD) can start at 20!
Different brain proteins go wrong in the conditions you mention, and even the same proteins can act differently and thus cause one condition to differ from another,
All quite complex isn't it - and lots still being worked out by medical scientists and doctors etc.
Mum had a sub type complicated by Lewy Body clusters. She was diagnosed a year ago in March and passed away 3 weeks ago. The middle stage only lasted 9 months and end stage 6 weeks. Her symptoms began roughly 4 years before diagnosis.
