Doris Mason and Fiona McLaughlin, will be facilitating at a new PSPA Support Group in North Antrim on Wednesday, 24th October 2012 from 1pm – 3pm in The Tweed Room, Robinson Hospital, 23 Newal Road, Ballymoney, BT23 6HB.

They have been involved with the PSPA for many years in various capacities and are hoping they can make the meetings more meaningful and constructive. There have been slight changes to PSPA Support Groups and this will mean that in future they will have a far greater local emphasis and a broader remit.

You will be able to decide what you want from your meetings and be in full control of how frequently you meet, where, and which speakers should be invited. What social activities could be organised and how you can reach out to more people affected by PSP.

The primary aim of the Support Groups will continue to offer people affected by PSP and CBD, their families, friends and carers the opportunity to meet and give mutual support to each other as well as having the opportunity to chat informally, make new friends and generally relax and enjoy a cup of tea or coffee.

The North Antrim Support Group is open to all, whether you are affected by PSP now, are a past carer, want to raise awareness or want to lend a hand at the Group – all are welcome! This Group is for you, so please join us and set the scene for future meetings and activities.

It would be great to see as many people there as possible to discuss the way forward and they both personally look forward to seeing some new faces and meeting up with those they may already know. If you are interested in attending please contact Doris on either 02891 878916, 07714 823116 or e-mail doris.mason@btinternet.com.
