Today we celebrate and honor the life of my sweet Momma — I have coffee in her honor with a mug she spent many mornings with. This will be a very hard day, but I feel peace in my soul knowing that she is whole again and is walking on streets of gold.
Heartfelt thanks to all of you — I will remain on this site to offer any insight as the days move forward for those that have to navigate this horrible disease.
I love you all.

She deserves a great celebration for the trooper she was!Feel the love and support surrounding you, too.
Yes, will be another hard day, but you can feel so proud of your Momma, and hold your head up high for the way you looked after each other to the end!!
Dear Kim, Strength and peace while you continue to celebrate your Mum. Thank you for sharing your daily celebration of your Mum. Your pictures are a great memory of your love for each other. Hugs and prayers for you and your family.
You celebrated and honoured your Mom each and every day with your loving care for her. May her relief and release from this horrid disease be a comfort to you. Big hugs, Purrlie
I have been away and off line so have only just picked up your sad news. I know that you knew that your Momma's end was near but it leaves such a hole when it actually happens. It is wonderful to think that she is no longer tied to her poor body but it still feels so sad for all those left behind. Her lovely smile will stay in your hearts forever. She is so lucky to have had you as her daughter and you and your lovely family were so lucky to have had her too. Loves you too. Big hug. AliBeexx
