MEDICAL BED - FREE TO GOOD HOME

Hello all.

Have followed this site for the last 3 years (sadly dad had a very agressive and swift battle with PSP - he died last year after 18 months from diagnosis to his final days.

We purchased as a family a fully functional medical bed (wooden effect panels) - visually it's more like a standard bed rather than the clinical/metal medical beds sometimes available.

Sadly Dad only got to use this for the last few weeks of his life, but it is still sat in our garage (safely stored).

It's fully electronic, raises the bed height from low sitting position, right up to Carers waist height and more - saves endless backbreaking bed nursing.

It lifts just head/pillows, as well as independent leg end lift. Again fully electronic and can be controlled by either person using the bed, or the Carer from alongside the bed controls.

We found this to be invaluable once dad progressed to a more bed-ridden period, however, this was also invaluable once dad struggled in/out of a 'normal' bed. It does also have side panels which can be raised in place, or left lowered to help prevent your loved one getting out of bed unexpectedly.

Would happily delivery locally (we are CV37 Warwickshire/Worcestershire border), and help install (subject to suitable social distancing obviously).

Would love to get this bed moved onto someone else in need of it - and would simply ask that as and when it is no longer needed then it is 'passed' forward to another PSP champion.......

Please contact me if you are interested and have a use for this bed. Seems such a shame for it to sit idle since we no longer need it.

Thank you - stay safe all.......

What a lovely offer - hope you find a new home. If no takers it may be worth trying your local hospice

Best wishes
