One of the beautiful discoveries that I have made this summer while in self isolation --- is that singing brings out the interaction between Mom and I. She has become very quiet, and yet music has taken a front row in our lives --- a connection remains between us with singing / music. Very thankful. I have offered a link for any of you that would like to witness the beauty of my mom knowing the words to this old song that we used to sing; she may not have the volume she once had, but she forms the words!

My Mum and I sang initially to help strengthen and maintain her voice, but towards the end it was a way of communicating with her so that she knew someone was with her and that it was me, as we had our special signature tunes. Sending you my love x
Mike listens to the radio every morning (Classic Rock) with his care taker and they amazingly seem to know all the words! It’s lovely to listen to.
