Villa Night in Hilton Head Island, SC

So ... this is the picture before the highlight of our night. I searched for a Villa, so that we would have comfortable seating for the night, so Mom could be comfortable. I wanted a whirlpool tub, because some reason I am confident that I can accomplish a wonderful hot bath experience.

I have to say, that I will never ever forget tonight ... the minute I managed to get mom comfortably seated in the hot bubble bath .... her reaction was completely off the charts. She kept saying, Oh MY GOSH - Oh My Lord ... Ohhhhhhhh this is wonderful. Bless her heart —- she loved taking baths in years past, and it’s been a very long time since she’s had a comfortable bath!!! There are no words ... feeling incredibly blessed tonight on this island!

My wife used to go one day a week to our local hospice They have a whirlpool bath which she could be lowered into via a hoist. She loved it.

Each photo that you send of your mom....she seems to look better and better. I wonder if all this wonderful love and serotonin experiences will add to slowing the progression.

Wow .... to think that is possible. Pictures can also be deceiving. I believe my Momma is happy; she is grieving my Dad, and struggling with this CBD.

As of now, we are completely relying on the rollater; she cannot walk but a very very short distance, and needs to be pushed for the most part. Her right leg doesn’t do what she wants... it almost looks like a tremor when she is trying to get it to move. Most recently she’s struggling with incontinence ... she would flip if she knew I was sharing this news with anyone —but, she doesn’t know about you guys 😉 - you all are my sanity!

Mommas speech is difficult - she’s really quiet.... so with all of that... I will continue to bring her moments of joy any chance I can!! Here’s to more love and serotonin! .... and God’s amazing grace

I am planning a summer 3daybreak with my children for my husband, I only hope he can make it, but reading your text and seeing the happy picture, I shall look for a disability cottage with a hot tub!!! Sounds great, thanks for sharing your happy moments. Love to all Xxx Jean
