Release at Last

Almost 10 years to the day since the first symptoms of PSP appeared my dear wife has finally been released from the purgatory of this dreadful condition. She passed peacefully away in her sleep at 2030hrs 7th Oct 2024.

This forum has been a source of counsel, comfort and concise information and a place of community that helped in the daily struggle to cope with the uncertainty that is PSP.

I bid you a fond farewell and a big thank you. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

Love and Hugs to all carers and patients. Scotoppy

I'm so very sorry for your loss Scottoppy. In the midst of grief you will feel relief that your dear wife died peacefully and is no longer suffering. You will also feel relief from the anxiety, stress and physical demands that were imposed on you. Don't feel guilty about that.Lean on family and friends and take care of yourself now. ๐Ÿ’Ÿ
