For those who find the thought of travelling abroad all a bit too much at the moment there are plenty of options in the UK from hotels that particularly cater for the disabled to self catering cottages with hoists for the hot tub!
I took Mum on a Warner Hotel break, we stayed in a beautiful lodge with a patio onto pond & gardens, had a wheelchair friendly bathroom and was able to hire commode & other items from a local agency the hotel put us in touch with & was all delivered & collected for us. It was a lovely relaxing break, just a shame Mum was too tired to enjoy the entertatinment!
My guy went missing for 20 minutes!
Why is my Mum so tired when going out to the shops in her wheelchair being pushed by us, it can take 2 days to get over a 2 hour outing?
