Yesterday my MIL was having a bad day, she had her last round of chemo on the 18th so I chalked it, at first, up to the "feel good" meds given with the chemo drugs had worn off. As the day progressed she got worse, eventually she had a dizzy spell, thankfully she was using the walker. I recommended a trip to ER, she was against it but then after I started playing 20 questions and she couldn't remember her daughter's name, my wife, she agreed.
As I sat in the ER room I started thinking... my god how many hours do I have in an ER or hospital? Long story short she has an UTI and was admitted, I KNEW something was wrong, to start IV antibiotics since she is autoimmune due to the chemo.
