Mum's gone

Mum passed away Thursday night in her own bed with just my husband and myself beside her. She had her wish to be at home and everyone involved in her care were people that she knew, liked & trusted.

I can never repay Lynne our Community Matron who personally looked after Mum in her last few days and had made sure that we had everything in place so Mum could be at home and ensured that she was comfortable and settled.

Likewise the carers who have looked after Mum so well and have become such friends to us. They gave us all a great deal of love & support.

I found that beyond difficult to manage and will always regret I could not get him home again.
