The one true blessing I am incredibly grateful for...is having my Mom living with me. Yesterday was a really tough day for her ... her right leg just decided not to cooperate all day. It scared mom - right before bed, and after I had to help her in the bathroom for the first time ... I decided to crawl in bed with her. 😌. As I lay with her and rub her back, she whispers “How am I going to make my bed in the morning?” I wrapped my arms around her, and whispered back, “Momma I will make your bed, every single day, in addition to making sure you’re safe and sound as best I can” .... we fell fast asleep.
This morning was pillow talk ... the best conversation in a long time... along with laughter, the best medicine.
Taking in the moments of being grateful for what I have.

"Taking in the moments of being grateful for what I have"...........................amen.
Thank you for the photos.....................I like them more than the words. They speak LOUDER.......until there is too much darkness for the posting of a photo. May that be years away.
Always love your picture posts, they never fail to capture my attention and tell a story without the need for any words. They always make me smile. You are a pretty amazing daughter with an amazing mum and so inspirational. Whatever the future holds, these happy memories/moments caught on camera will be priceless without doubt - my archive of photos/videos of my late husband taken during the better times before his decline have certainly sustained me, especially to hear his laughter. Very best wishes to you both and your family. HilsandR
I appreciate your words more than you know - this is going to be something I am sure I will reflect on in the future —- but, for now, and as long as I can enjoy days of laughter with my sweet Momma — I will cherish every second! I am incredibly grateful to have connected you and all the others - no one understands this journey. ❤️ Heartfelt thanks
I'm feeling lucky to have my mother living with me, too. My sweetheart, who had psp, died two years ago, and so my house is full of the equipment that makes it possible for my mother, 92, to be comfortable with me, and so I won the contest among my sisters, and get to keep her! And they visit more, which is always lovely. Hugs back atcha!
