I made a huge effort today.........

This-morning I knew there would be high tide and a great opportunity for yet another picture of my local road bridge. My left arm is becoming more useless and getting my camera onto the tripod was a big problem but I am pleased I managed it.

For the last month I have had 'care' help with showering because drying myself is a problem . I feel a lot safer with someone helping and the young lady is so caring and kind, even cleaning the shower before she leaves.

The journey continues.

Hi Bargie P

I hope you don't mind me calling you that... I have such an image of you, in my mind, on a prety endless, beautiful, canal at the helm.

Your love of beauty and your skill with the camera are wonderful. Thank you for sharing the moment.

You give me considerable perspective and strength in your posts.

I know it can't be easy.

So - Salute and again thanks.

Best

Kevin

Thanks for those kind words...........

I find everything takes so long to do and I keep thinking how easy tasks were twelve months ago, but it seems to be the nature of the disease

But you still keep trying and never give up!

And look at the stunning result of your photograghy attempts. There is real skill and the 'attempt' is just getting the gear together and lugging it to the spot to make it happen!

Well done! Hope you will be able to create many more!

Beautiful, Pat. Nature first made it, but so briefly! - and you saw it properly and preserved it artfully with your own skill and training and effort, and so a thing of beauty and solace is given to the world to keep. Thank you.

Bargiepat, I'm so impressed that you "get out" and do things! You are the same age as my husband, but he seems to have the apathy that afflicts some CBD sufferers, and doesn't want to go out. I do make him go with me to things now and then, and we get out to at least have a coffee and sit quietly in the car most days. Good for you for continuing your hobby. My G has the "alien" left arm too. You are an inspiration :-)

Stunning photo.

It must have taken a huge effort to capture and doing so is helping your body keep active.

Your inner strength is top notch.

Beautiful photo - it has brightened my day. I do understand huge efforts were involved but what a result.

It is a challenge accepting help but I think it frees up your energy for other things in life. Good to save your energies for pleasures in life!!

Thank you for sharing this beautiful photo, you are an inspiration to us all.

Take care, keep strong

Hi Patrick that is an amazing photograph. It's nice knowing that you have such determination. Also good to know you are accepting help. Whatever this disease throws at you try to keep going. PSP is vile in the way that it creeps up on you with horrible surprises.

Stay safe and show more beautiful photographs.

Love

P.S. I'm glad that as a result of having help you feel safer when showering and that the person is kind.
