Sent home from respite.

I thought I had found a good nursing home placement for J's rolling respite. The manager came round to assess him and I went to look round and was pleased with the room etc. So all excited at the thought of 2 weeks rest I took him in yesterday. Today he is back home on the sofa again. I have never known anything like it. I am well and truly stuck with all this by myself.

Esc what happened? Did they not want to care for him or was it terrible there?

Can you not find a place you have used before to take him?

I am so sorry this has happened.

Hi E

I'm so sorry. You must have needed the break.

I'm with everyone else here... What happened?

Are there alternatives?

Warmly

Kevin

I knew they would have there hands full with him but I don't think they did so they wanted him to leave or pay up more money to have a one to one carer be with him. Social worker said he would try and find another placement for him but I am not holding out on that!

I do hope they get another respite placement for J and you get the break you deserve and need Escada. Good luck. Lots of love Nanny857 x
