I remember reading about a man who wore a white coat and was around the hospital so long that every one knew him. He went into Theatre and no-one cottoned on for ages ! He was jailed in the end !!!
Hahaha ...He probably made as accurate of diagnosis as the real ones did,....I actually watched a movie with DiCaprio, Catch me if you Can.....who portrayed a hospital dr....can't remember why but it took a while for others to catch him...? I'll have to rewatch.....do you concur?
Doglington you might have uncovered a conspiracy...or at least an answer to why most people die of everything...I mean sure death is inevitable but dang....all these wannabe drs sayin there's no cure...how bout just some relief doc..oh yah your not really a doc..hahahashit :@
I am so sorry that Archie is back in hospital. Poor him and poor you. It's dreadful when you almost have to be on guard in a hospital? I remember that feeling of being totally on edge because nobody knew what was wrong and nobody appeared to care!
That's a terrible thought.. But true in a lot of cases. Will I care and pray for Archie. May the God over all bring hope and peace to both of your hearts. May he give you new strength to carry on. In Jesus precious name Amen Jenny
I got so tired of telling ER doctors and doctors dad normally doesn't see what is wrong I finally found a Emergency Medical form and filled it out. I put it in a folder and hand it to the ambulance staff to take with him. I follow behind but sometimes they are at ER before I am, wonders of flashing lights I guess. Least this way the ER staff has a basic idea of what they are dealing with till I get there.

PS: also very useful for when I am out and another carer/aide is here with dad. If something were to happen the aide can just hand the paperwork to EMTs.
I agree with you we have an emergency care plan which Matron did so that goes with him Regarding getting there after ambulance I always get before them I think they must take the scenic route
I feel hospital staff do not revive the tuition to cope with these rare diseases. When my Barry was in hospital twice and nursing home twice I discharged him. 4 times the Hospital was appalled with me. But I have done a better job on my own at home. Nursing is a gift ... you are born a nurse and not one of them were.
