The cruelty of this disease, 48 hrs after posting a little happiness rog is once again very poorly with urinary sepsis, a delay of four hours due to capacity issues administering IV meds we are now facing another frightening time. Lovely fathers day planned for him not happening now.

So sorry to hear your news. PSP is an exhausting , wicked tyrant.!! Sending you both a big hug and prayers. Rx

Sending big hug and much love. Hope Roger recovers quickly. Steve always use to, after a big slug of antibiotic. Sepsis is a posh word for infection, it's to make the medical team, seem as if they know more about Rogers condition, than you do!

Lots of love

Another problem thrown at poor Rog and yourself, I hope the antibiotics soon kick in and sort him out. I bet it seems that the health problems are never ending. Love to you both.

Since those of you who read my posts probably have gotten the idea that I am willing to try things out of the ordinary in tackling PSP and its symptoms...so you may think I am off my rocker. And this is totally anecdotal, and knowing that, my husband was having the not uncommon painful UTIs. He had a bad reaction to finasteride, commonly recommended to treat enlarged prostate. So what to do? I happened to hear a video from Andrew Saul who promotes large doses of Vitamin C, not unlike Linus Pauling. So I have been giving my husband 18-20g of Vitamin C daily. It is an anti-inflammatory. It does not build up in the system. He gets it in powdered form dissolved in juices. The good news....His painful urination has gone away, he has better control of his sphincter muscle. He has not had even a hint of a UTI in months. Yes, his neurologist knows. It is also purported to work on sepsis. Can't hurt, might help.

Best to all, Christine
