Sharon has left us

After a month long fight in hospital my wife could not fight any longer.

Yesterday afternoon I removed her oxygen mask and lay with her as she drifted away.

Sharon was 57, my wife of 37 years and a proud mum of four boys.

I am lost without her.

Thank you everyone for your kind words, I have my moments but I will be fine, the picture is a fridge magnet we got when Sharon was first told she may have Parkinson's, it has been our motto and is just as relevant now she has gone.

I will stay active on this forum to try and help anyone trying to cope with this cruel disease.

I will also be posting more on Sharon's PSP journey, especially the last month in hospital in the hope it will help others.
