GOT IN TOUCH WITH ONE OF THE VA COUNSELORS AND SHE WAS VERY SWEET. SHE IS PART OF THERE PROGRAM CALLED TAPP. SHE WILL TRY TO GET ME SOMEONE WHO I CAN RELATE TO AND HOPEFULLY SHE DOES. SHE GAVE ME HER CELL NUMBER AND SAID IF I NEED TO TALK DAY OR NIGHT, JUST CALL. I SO PRAY IT WORKS OUT.

Good job Audrey, I do hope you find someone . I too have been considering it with my kids. We need to talk and we have not really done it...I need to know how ....B's hospice offers counselling so I think I will give them a call and see what they have to say!
Well done Audrey!! Counselling can be very good and I went to Dads hospice for counselling and I have to say the guy was brilliant!! I'm sure it will help 🙏 X
Hi Audrey,. Well done! That first move is the hardest. I am sure it will help, having some counselling. But stick at it, it won't be an over night cure. I got enormous help from the ones I saw, whilst Steve was still with me. It did take a while to get use to talking very honestly to someone though.
Hi Audrey, so pleased you are to get counselling it helped me enormously when Ben was in denial at the diagnosis and I found it so difficult. Counselling helped me to come to terms with my emotions and was the only place I could offload with no holding back. Big hugs
