Vitamin supplements
I have my husband (dx 4ys ago) on a very specific diet and supplement regimen. I am posting this because he said a new addition is something he actually feels helps. And he said I should post this though I thought it was too soon! He has been using Rhodiola rosea for only a few weeks but feels his balance, cognition, vision, speech, swallowing are better. I know this is anecdotal and may be just hope in a jar. We are still working on dosage. My reference is Drs. Richard Brown and Patricia Gerbarg. I will keep you posted as to progress,
Thank you christine 47 will look it up I think hope in a jar is what we are all after , along with a good helping of positivity ,
That is the symptommyhubby has most is sorered rimmed eyes he is using false tears ointment which is helpinga lot so far ,he never mentions double vision though x
My husband has been on 400 mg. Co-Enzyme Q-10 for 15 years after we attended a meeting where a gentleman in late stage PD said he had been helped tremendously with a high dose of Q-10. My husband's neurologist was doubtful but said it can't hurt him when I mentioned giving it to him all those years ago but just give him 400 mg. 15 years later he is still walking and the disease has progressed very slowly. Don't really know if it was the Q-10. His blurried eyes have been helped by Systane.
Thank you so much I am exploring all possibilities at the moment still doing my research at the moment, got some multi vitamins from boots for the short term cant do any harm x
