George's 70th birthday party

We had a lovely day, George was on form, after a long nap, we had 50 people over to the party in the garden, we had a hog roast, with our son in law carving it up after it had been cooking for 7 hours, was such a lovely day, with a lot of lovely memories. George went to bed very tired, my feet are killing me, I sat on George's chairs after the cleaning up was done, with a cold drink and a slice of cheese cake. Yvonne xxxxx

Happy Birthday George! What a wonderful memory. What does the cake building represent?

I'm so pleased you had a great day with lots of helpers and if the weather was like it was here, even better.

Love and hugs to you both.

Sorry to be late wishing you a wonderful birthday, George. So glad you had a great party - it's a lot of effort (as if you don't have enough on your plate, Yvonne) but still so worth in the end. Love cheesecake!

That's a lovely happy photo and so glad the weather was good for you. Another happy memory to add on. No wonder you were tired, all the preparation beforehand and 50 guests to look after, wow I take my hat off to you, you are a star. Hope you get some rest this week.

Lots of love,

Nanny857 xx

Well Done Yvonne! A few days of normality in both your lives. Of course your feet hurt, they would of anyway, with or without PSP!!! Hope all your helpers put the house back to its normal state. I can still, just about, put on a do, but it's the clearing up afterwards, that gets me down. When the reality of our "normal" life kicks back in, but you still have to do the washing up!!!

Many happy returns to George, good to see him smiling and having such a wonderful time, a photo to be treasured.

Lots of love
