Hello Lisa, I'm very sorry your dad has Parkinson's. Many people connected to this site were originally diagnosed with Parkinson's but have since been re diagnosed with Progressive Supranuclear Palsy. You may get advice here but you will probably get more help if you sign in to the Parkinson's site. At the top right hand corner of this page is a white area labelled "Search Healthunlocked". Type in Parkinson's Disease and it will redirect you.

I hope you get the advice you want.

Hi! The help button does help with navigation around the site. I had to use it when I got into the "wrong" community. Don't worry. It takes a while to get oriented in this site, and everyone is glad to support you, whatever the question. As has been said, lots of folks with psp are first diagnosed with Parkinson's, so you may find good information here, but psp really can't be treated, while Parkinson's sometimes can be, so the best information about medical action will be found in that community. Your dad looks lovely, and I hope you find assistance for him. Never hesitate to come over here for emotional support. We are good at that! All the best, Easterncedar

Hi Lisa, I hope you have found your site now. If not, are you putting in Parkinsons Disease rather than PD. I've just clicked My Communities then Browse Communities and written PD in full. It showed me 3 sites for PD.

Best wishes.

X

Hello, yeah this is the psp section. But we can still help. Are you in the US? Daytime I'm not sure about. But to stop nightmares and such some cannabis will stop that. And lucky for you guys maybe not for us, there is a new parkinsons drug coming your way in the next few years. Here are some links about it.
