A visit to the doctors to sort out Brians prescription had me explaining that as the dietician wanted Brian to have 120ml of pro-cal a day one 250ml bottle would never last a month also being as that was only 2 days supply why was his complan stopped.... pointed out that by them only supplying complan instead of something like ensure or fortisip they are saving money.
plenty of excuses but I stood my ground and my parting shot was being as he hasn't got much time anyway you are just makeing sure he gets malnutrition just to make sure he don't affect your budget for too long. Within an hour I had an urgent delivery from the chemist lots of nutrition for Brian. Not enough for a whole month but hey ho better then what we had.
Think I was correct to confront them in person in front of other patients especially as I was polite but loudish. Janexx

Jolly well done -that's the way and next time it happens we will all come with you and won't be half as polite ! Georgepa ( be proud of yourself as well )
The scarey thing is pre-diognoses I would of just let things be and just bought the complan and perhaps mentioned the lack of pro-cal to the dietician next time I saw her. But now if they say he should have I demand that he gets it. Janexx
