hi juliehann

i am so sorry that your dad is failing and in hospital

i have PSP and do not know when the end will be 4 me - not yet awhile though as i aM pretty sure i ha hAVE the slow sort of PSP

thinking of you and your family at this time - i can appreciate what you r going thro as my dad (aged 92) who did not have PSP died in hospital after a short illness - on his own after my brother and i had done a long round trip to see him one final time

so be strong i f u can - your mum ill need you a lot

tell him that you love him as the hearing is the last to go

Hi Juliehann. It's so hard isn't it? As Jill said, keep talking to your dad and try not to say anything within earshot that you wouldn't want to hear if you were near the end. It's sad your dad has been in hospital for several weeks and I pray the situation won't go on for much longer for all your sakes. Your mum will need you now and I'm sure she appreciates you being there for her and your dad. How I wish I can do something to make this horrible situation better for you but all I can do is pray and send you a virtual hug and let you know I am thinking of you all.

I really feel for you. This time last year my dad was going through his last weeks and reliving it really hurts. Seeing your dad trying to fight but all the while knowing its a losing battle is very very hard. I hope your dad doesn't have to suffer much longer and I wish you strength and courage for the coming weeks ahead. Always here if you want to talk xxxx

Hi mrs Farringdon, it's very hard I know every day it's a battle I look at dads picture and have a little cry. Life is so different now and I miss him terribly. I remember dads journey this time last year clear as day and we talk about it Day by day the house. We will miss them for the rest of our lives and they are always in our thoughts. Love and strength to you my dear xxxx
