Oh yes I did. I didn't know it was even possible. (I do have moderate eye-tracking problems which was discovered during my extensive testing last summer to arrive at a PSP diagnosis.)
I love my Physical Therapist; we cliqued from the beginning; have the same sense of humor.
He asked to do a particular, complex, exercise my brain automatically said 'uh uh; it's not going to happen'. So without thinking and involuntarily, I gave him a whopping eye roll. Just like I'd do in the old days when the kids were little, or as an expression of 'too much'.
And, WOW, did it hurt. Like immediately. Mike, with an amazed looked on his face, asked me, "Did you just roll your eyes at me?" I said, "Yes, I think I just did but it was involuntary; I didn't think I could roll my eyes.".
From that eye roll forward, everything about my eye sockets and lids ached like crazy. Saw my Nuero a few weeks ago. Explained what happened. He said it's entirely possibly I 'sprained' my eyes, given the delicate muscles, tendons, etc. within the socket itself.
That eye roll came from a distant time and memory... I've tried a few times to roll them (gently) now they are feeling better, but the best I could come up with was a very slow; stop a sec., continue on; stop a sec., til I was full circle; kind of like a face of a clock if that makes sense.
So these no longer doable, involuntary ways of self-expression, can stay dormant; they served their purpose

Love it! Tho the worst passed some time ago, the muscles around my eyes get sore a lot because of the PSP. Thanks for the idea and they will be put to good use.
Certainly will! Sometimes the simpliest things are way better than what a Doc can prescribe, eh?
The muscles in my upper and lower eyelids tremored 24/7 last spring for a few months and abruptly stopped. Now, they are droopy & sore, and often lopsided in one or both eyes especially in the mornings.
Now and again I will still sometimes spontaneously move my eyes in directions the muscles are no longer conditioned to do, and leave me with eyeaches.
Not to mention just eyestrain in general as my eye-tracking skills, better put, inability to move them voluntarily except straight ahead.
I'm going to be pro-active on this and do it a few times a day or everyother day even if I think I don't need it.
Have also been struggling with excessively dry eyes for 3 years now. Have to think this can only help, not hurt. Warm tea bags might help with the dry-eye better.
Promise I'll get back to you in a week with this experiement and let you know how it goes.

Sorry I forgot to say COLD TEA BAGS keep some damp/wet in the fridge . , although you could even try's alternating cold and warn like you would if you sprained an ankle . I daresay you might have sticky eye lids . To help this bathe them in warm water with a drop of baby oil and a mild soapy .solution . . I learned that from when my mother was in a nursing home she had had a very bad stroke . I tried it for my husband and it made a big difference soothes and he had longer lashes . . His lashed had started to turn inwards . Do you a problem with greasy and then dry skin , I do a similar thing for his skin . I always cleanse his face at least twice a day this way , including eyebrows and ears .
I could write a book lol. Seriously if I can help someone else it's a bonus . x
