That’s great! I just had my 3 month follow-up too. too with similar results. Fingers crossed for greater recovery!
good luck with getting that guy to work--I hope your urologist has talked about post-surgery strategies with you (or someone in his/her office has)
Yeah -- mine should have. My oncologist actually recommended not pushing back against the dismaying loss of libido and subsequent ED. Just let libido go to sleep, and recovery will come later.
Oh really? Then how come 75% of men never recover their sexual functioning after ADT? NO! Proactive penile rehab is essential post-RP and -RT, and throughout ADT.
All the T-deprived libido really needs is continuation of erections. I don't have many orgasms, but I do have them occasionally. That's not important compared to keeping up the erections, hopefully daily or 4-5 times a week.
And daily tadalafil or sildenafil helps unsuppress nocturnal erections. They help in the daytime if you can get even somewhat aroused.
I'm nobody special in sexual abilities, but with the tadalafil (why didn't they give it to me in month one of ADT?) and my Loop device (hadn't heard of the two new ones until Darryl announced Giddy some months back, then I discovered Xialla online) -- equipped thusly, I can get a reliable 100% erection every time. Yes, that's correct. Every time. My libido does not go to sleep, even with zero T.
