I finished my 6 rounds of docetaxel a little over 3 weeks ago and set to have MRI and bone scans tomorrow, but I've been in a funk since the last infusion. My attitude has been positive until recently and I'm not anxious about the scans, just weary of all the side effects of the infusions, Lupron and bicalutemide. Seems like every infusion brought on intensified or new side effects, most recently edema in both feet and one hand. The chemo has worn me down and made me weak and unsteady, but thankfully I'm in physical therapy twice a week. Feeling like the recovery is slow and just hoping for some physical strength to return soon. I know this is just the beginning of my fight and hope I can muster the courage to carry through. I guess I just needed to write this to help.

I will agree to listen to your whining if you agree to listen to mine which will probably be coming soon. Much confusion as to what is going on with my PC so I am trying to avoid getting depressed until a treatment is proposed. Awaiting the decision of two different oncology boards. Who knows, maybe they will decide I am fine :)

That's a deal. I'm awaiting the results of my scans, but going to stay positive. I hope you can muster the courage and attitude to do the same. Good luck!
