biopsy after orgovyx

does anyone know how long you should wait after taking Orgovyx to get a biopsy? I can't find any information about this on the Orgovyx website and the patient information number doesn't seem to work.

There's no profile. Why are you taking Orgovyx before you've had a biopsy?

Thanks for the reply. I'm sorry I used to have a profile but I could not find it, so I registered again. I had a biopsy in Feb 2023 with gleason score 4+3=7 report from the local lab here and a second opinion from Johns Hopkins. I had insurance problems, so in August 2023 I was advised to start taking Orgovyx until medicare was effective Nov. 1. I took the Orgovyx from August 30 2023 until Dec. 6 2023. After I got medicare I was able to change doctors, and I obtained two more pathology opinions, both 3+4=7 instead of 4+3=7. So the new urologist ordered a new MRI and biopsy on Feb 21 2024, which found no cancer, and no gleason score. Now I am being told that I had the biopsy too soon after the orgovyx and the results are not valid. I would like to know what the drug manufacturer recommends but I cannot find the information anywhere. My PSA increased from 4.5 when I had the 2nd biopsy in Feb to 7.7 now.

That is idiotic that he gave you another biopsy. Whatever Johns Hopkins said is definitive. You don't need another biopsy.

I agree it is idiotic but I have to figure out what to do. The pathology report from Johns Hopkins is from my Feb 2023 biopsy and it says gleason 4+3=7, but two other pathologists reviewed the same slides and said gleason 3+4=7. The pathology report from my Feb 2024 biopsy is from Vanderbilt University and it says no cancer detected. Is that because it was too soon after the orgovyx? Should I have a third biopsy since my PSA has risen?

As I said, "Whatever Johns Hopkins said is definitive. You don't need another biopsy." I don't know how to say it more clearly.

I do not have as much confidence in Johns Hopkins as you do. The pathologist that signed my report left recently because of "misconduct"

The way he treats his employees doesn't detract from Epstein and his lab being the gold standard.
