After a one month trial on Firmagon, switched to Eligard. Good so far; better with latter than former.
Supposed to start IMRT in a couple of wks. 25 sessions. Followed by brachytherapy. Reactions to these procedures? Dos? Don'ts. Short term side effects? Long term? I want to know what to expect.

There are also late-term urinary side effects that occur in about 19% of patients getting the bimodal therapy. It may be helpful to increase your exercise level during treatment.
My initial diagnosis was PSA 6.9 gl 6. Had 8 wks of radiation in 2004-2005 at age 54. Only SE was a little fatigue around 5th week. Nothing else! I continued swimming all during it...since then I haven't had any ADT.
No real good erections but it at least happens. There is some , but in small amounts! As a single guy age 68, I'm not concerned. Ideally, i would like to meet another guy with PCa...I'm ok as it is? If you are in a relationship, it could be different. How are you doing on Eligard?
I reacted better to Eligard than I did to Firmagon. More hot flashes with Eligard but fewer other side effects (or perhaps I'm just getting use to it all). Dry orgasm but can still get hard (a plus I guess), no tenderness at injection site, no pee issues. Almost no sex drive. Ever shrinking testicles. Sigh. Exercising more. Drinking less. Wt appears stable. Start IMRT on Monday. 25 sessions. Side effects scare me.
