A month after surgery and here is the information about the pathology report:
It is a pT2. So no extra-capsular invasion after all and it is of the usual acinar type. No seminar vesical nor lymph vascular invasion nor ductal invasion.
No chirurgical margins involved except one on the right side in the apex with 1 mm. Doctor said that till 3 mm it would have no statistical impact ...
Lymph nodes (18) removed also cleaned.
However confirmed a Gleason 8 and it was a big thing in both 2 sides of the gland.
Doctor said, opposite to initially thought, it turned out to be not so bad and he is not so convinced of adjuvant treatment right after surgery anymore. Unless the PSA says otherwise.
So next step is check PSA in July 2018.
Any comment/advise is highly appreciated.

Hi Allen, another question. What is your view of the 1mm surgery margin being positive in the right apex? I mean, I read a study that says that the cancer recurrence is more likely when margins are positive even small. This is different from what my doctor said! Do you have any thoughts about this?
