It all depends on you - the PCa patient. My treatment was IGRT a dozen years ago so is barely relevant - ancient technology. Mine is unresponsive to poking, prodding, or massage. Guys in my local support group report a range of responsiveness and a range of treatments - variety. So I think it comes down to the deal you get dealt.
Can't tell exactly what you're asking. Do you mean prostate massage before or after treatment for PC? If you mean does prostate massage (via getting fucked or some other means) cause PC, or have other bad effects on the prostate, as far as I know there have been no studies to show a connection.
I am ONE year after treatment, age 75....After ADT and Brachy, massage helps heighten the orgasm, BUT, in my case, very little fluid. The cause is easy to explain since over 50% of my prostate was removed by radiation. Thankfully I have a loving husband who helps get things get going. He, himself also a PCa survivor lost most of his sexual function. In many men their prostate is non working and no fluid is produced. My urologist says it may take 2 years to rebound. My prostate size went from 38mm to 23mm. I'll have it re-measured in February. My testosterone went from zero after treatment to "measurable" 3 months after treatment. Every cancer patient is different. Age, health, etc. all have an impact on recovery.
