I had a video visit with my oncologist yesterday. My last PSA was 1,950. Started a new treatment but had to stop in mid-December due to side effects. I asked my onc will I make it through the year? His reply was I may not.
I own my house with a distant cousin. I own 67%, he owns 33%. I own 3 out of the 4 cats we have. You would think giving the selfish a-hole 2/3 of a house worth $3.1M (life in Silicon Valley) would be enough. No, he wants me to leave money to take care of the cats. He told me the house is not a liquid asset. He’s definitely NOT poor, he and his partner just came back from Hawaii. They flew first class and air BNB a penthouse condo. I am leaving his partner my $63K Rolex. I am speechless.

Thank you. I have been fighting this disease for 20 years. The past two years have worn me out. I still try to keep a positive attitude and a sense of humor.
Nah. I am changing my will but not for that reason. Tomorrow I am buying a cemetery plot! I can’t leave it up to the individual I mentioned - my body would be donated to science.
People can be sh**ts. Donate your to share to charity...maybe something to do with gay kids..agree with cat issue ..SPCA, muttville for cats? Keep true to yourself.
It sound like you have been too good to these assholes and they feel they can just keep asking for more. I like the idea of selling the watch to provide for you cats. I am sure you can find a crazy cat lady who would be able to take care of them for that money. How old are the cats?
My young Poodle is just 4 and I worry about him after I die. My husband loves him but it is just not the same as the relationship between me and Darcy that he expects.
Pets are usually flexible as long as they are well cared for. I would not trust your cousin to take care of them no matter how much money you give him. Once you are gone they will be off to the shelter.
Thanks for your reply. I am financially stable. We will just need to sit down and chat. My cousin is on the spectrum plus he's a tad bit narcissistic. One cat is around 12 and the other two are 6. He is very dedicated to taking care of the animals. I would trust him. It's the matter of him asking for money for their care. He knows I can provide for them without any financial difficulty.
