tamsulosin and the heart

has anyone encountered side effects from tamsulosin?

I’ve been taking it for around 2-3 months and just been told I have a heart murmur.

My guess is that it was just found and had been there for some time.

I’ve had mitral valve repair 15 years ago and heart murmur way before that. I’ve been tasking Tamsulosin for only a few years. Maybe the heart murmur has been there. My cardio hasn’t commented on it.

On it daily for 11 years. Have not had any side effects to my knowledge.

I had to stop taking it because my heart raced and I couldn’t sleep. My doctor acknowledged that some people are affected by tamsulosin

Either tamsulosin or doxyzosin caused me bad nasal congestion and nose bleeds. I stopped after a few weeks. But maybe I should try again as BPH/PCa symptoms are difficult. Do others get nose bleeds. Which one?
