3 Months post ADT (Orgovyx) Still having hot flashes and fatigue-doing blood test in two weeks..for hopefully nadir..

Stopped taking Orgovyx May 30th .... August 30th will be my 90 day blood test I presume to see if my Testosterone is BACK TO NORMAL (I hope) and my PSA is less than .o2 ??

I understand that the Testosterone back to NORMAL is more possible in the short term (90 days) than longer term use of adt? Is that accurate?

I am concerned as I am still having fatique and hot flashes and no erections even though I stopped the Orgovyzx 90 days ago??? (not taking flomax and taking 5 mg cialis every day). I don;t "feel" the Testosterone is back yet at all?

Could I get a timetable as to T coming back and what I should be "feeling" and when do the post symtomology (i.e. fatique, hot flashes, etc. ) fade and go away?

When should I be getting erections... (quite frankly since the Orgovyx I have been hesitant to "TEST THE WATERS " with my wife?..it has been 6 months ....Lastly, I had taken orgvyzx concurrent and Post radiation NOT BEFORE Radiation ..I have read that is more protective from reoccurence ,than taking before radiation, is that true?

Thanking you in advance..Best to all of you..

My oncologist told me that the Hormone Treatment will slowly disappear out of my system taking about as long as I had been on it to totally disappear along with the side effects. I had been on Hormone Treatment for 9 months and once past the 6 month mark I could definitely see a difference with side effects and by 9 months could not notice them at all and certainly by my one year point was back to normal in every respect. some men are on Hormone Treatment for 2 - 3 years and will reach their nadir somewhere close to the 18 month to 2 year mark after finishing all treatment. Having said that mine barely changed from the 3 month to 6 month to 9 month and on to 1 st year and 2nd year. Thankfully after 7 nearly 8 years after treatment there have been no scares with any rises in PSA. Be patient this can take time.

I was told at the 3 month time frame about 1/2 of the ADT was out of my system and should be 95% gone at 6 months. You should see improvement fairly quickly from here.

How much do you exercise and what kind?

If you’re apprehensive, test the waters with yourself for a bit first, as often as possible. Then with your wife.

Maybe test it on your girlfriend first.......

Was on ADT for 18 months. Took a good 6 months to get into the normal range for T. Hot flashed ended pretty quick though, within a month after the effect from the last dose was done.
